[56] VIVAPIANO International competition for non-professional pianists

The VIVAPIANO competition for non-professional pianists was created by pianist Daniela Dikova in 2010 in honor of the doyen of the Bulgarian Piano School, Acad. Andrey Stoyanov. The only one in the Balkans, it meets performers of all ages, sets the stage for people with special needs, including children with autism, and is a place for communication between piano teachers. The competition works for the formation of a highly educated concert publication, popularization of the music profession and attracting young people to professional music education.

VIVAPIANO is a podium for all musicians to perform for their own pleasure, without age, social group and nationality, as well as a stage for the debut of young musical talents.

Through its implementation VIVAPIANO helps to increase the social significance of music culture in the capital, such as expanding and educating new audiences. The competition creates community teachers between experts, participants, participants and publications, and people who need special attention. The main goal of the VIVAPIANO competition is to encourage young people to study music professionally. For everyone else, it is a powerful stimulus for development.

Partners in various editions of the VIVAPIANO competition were the Sofia Philharmonic, the National Academy of Music, the Bulgarian National Television, the Bulgarian National Radio and the Union of Bulgarian Composers.
