ORGANIZE NINTH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL - COMPETITION FOR MUSICIANS - PERFORMERS AND TEACHERS "TECHNIQUE AND STYLE"

STATUTE
Objectives:
- Performance of amateur and professional musical performers on classical musical instruments and classical and pop singing at clubs, associations and organizations, community centers, children's and youth centers, kindergartens, general education schools, students in music academies and professional performers.
- To present individual performers, ensembles and groups with high artistic achievements in the field of Russian and world music classics.
Eligibility:
Children and adults engaged in amateur and professional playing of classical musical instruments, classical and pop singing.
Categories (categories have no age limits)
Participants will be divided into the following categories:
a/ beginners, with a training period of up to 2 years
b/ advanced, with a training period of more than 2 years
c/ professionals - students in music academies and professional performers
Repertoire:
Participants perform one or two pieces of music.
Duration of the repertoire: 5-7 minutes.
Participants provide their own accompanist or a recording of instrumental accompaniment on a flash drive.
Jury:
Chairman: Prof. Svetlana Karas - teacher in the piano department at the Moscow State Institute of Culture, director of the International School of Music.
Gayane Markarian - laureate of international competitions.
Albina Chabayeva - Docent from the Moscow State Institute of Culture, laureate of international competitions.
Galina Kargina – teacher in the Department of Concertmaster and Music Education at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography.
Awards:
The following prizes will be awarded:
- certificate for each participant and composition
- diploma for the smallest performer
- certificate for the oldest performer
- certificate for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group
- diploma for a leader with high artistic achievements
Special Awards:
- special award of the Mayor of Burgas Municipality-
Mr. Dimitar Nikolov for high artistic achievements
- special award "For the best performance of folk music arrangement"
- special "Beginning" award - for those engaged in music for less than two years - regardless of age

Within the festival:
Prof. Karas organized a Piano Master Class. Those wishing to take an active part should enter the repertoire and duration in the requests.
The schedule for the order of appearance of the participants will be published on Facebook on the page of the People's Community Center "Far-1946" Burgas on June 28, 2023.
The contest will be held in the city of Burgas, Sea Casino, "Petya Dubarova" hall, July 6-7, 2023.

Participation fee:
- BGN 50 for an individual contractor
- BGN 25 per participant in a duet or trio
- BGN 20 for each performer in a larger ensemble or
group
- For foreigners: 25 euros - individual participant, 15 euros for a participant in a duet or trio, quartet and 10 euros for each participant in a group.
