[66] The International Chamber Music Competition Plovdiv

The International Chamber Music Competition "Plovdiv" was founded and organized by the world-famous violinist Elmira Durvarova, by Neli Popova-Koeva - director of the National School of Music and Dance Art "Dobrin Petkov" - Plovdiv and by the Foundation for Culture and Art "MuzikArtisimo". The Competition is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, under the auspices of the Municipality of Plovdiv and with the financial support of the "America for Bulgaria" Foundation.

The aims of the Plovdiv International Chamber Music Competition is to expand the opportunities for outstanding young concert artists in terms of their professional qualification and the realization of a fulfilling stage career, as well as to emphasize the fundamental role of chamber music performance.

The International Plovdiv Competition for Chamber Music was held 3 times from 2014 to 2017.
