[65] International Heirs of Orpheus Music Competition

The International Music Competition “Heirs of Orpheus” was founded in 2013 and is held annually - 9 times from 2013 to 2022. Its specialty covers piano, classic singing, ensemble, choir, orchestra, composition, teacher and students, musical family and accompaniment. In particular the piano is divided into such as solo piano, piano duo, piano for 4, 6, 8 hands. The location is the resort town Albena. The main organizers are the Union of Concert Activities of Russian Federation and the tour agency “Romantic-travel”- Saint Petersburg, Russia. In nine editions, it attracted hundreds of talented performers from Europe, Asia, North and South America from countries such as: Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Estonia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Cyprus, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, USA, Syria, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Chile, Switzerland, Sweden, South Korea, Japan.

The objectives of this competition are:

- to become a forum for creative communication between musicians from different national schools, genres, specialties, and generations from different countries of the world;

- to be a place for comparing artistic criteria and achievements

in the field of executive and pedagogical practices;

- to stimulate high professional skill and artistic taste;

- to discover new musical talents and help their professional growth and career.
