[51]International Competition for Composition "Sofia"

The International Sofia Competition for Composition was held 10 times between 2009 and 2019. The specialty is composition. It is held in the city of Sofia. The competition "Sofia" is organized annually by the Sofia Municipality and the House of Culture "Krasno Selo", with the participation of the chamber ensemble "Sofia Soloists". The competition was created by a decision of the Sofia Municipal Council on the occasion of 130-year Anniversary since the city Sofia became the capital of Bulgaria. The competition for the Metropolitan Municipality is a way to emphasize creativity without requirements for a certain theme and national limitation.
