[06] International Pancho Vladigerov Competition

The International Pancho Vladigerov Competition started in 1986. In fact it was the last edition of a pilot project, which took place in 1981, 1983 only for the specialty of piano playing. And in 1986 a machine musical event shone in Shumen - First International Competition for Pianists "Pancho Vladigerov". 22 pianists from 7 countries competed, the international jury of 15 people was chaired by Parashkev Hadjiev. In 1993, the Foundation Pancho Vladigerov was established, with the aim of organizing this competition, and it produced the first product for the specialty piano and violin in 1995, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the composer Prof. Pancho Vladigerov. The location is the city of Shumen, which is the hometown of Pancho Vladigerov.
