Nature and goals
The main goal of the competition is to encourage young artists to create and perform musical works dedicated to the Earth and its survival. In this way, through the means of art, a new moral attitude towards Nature will be acted upon. environment and source of raw materials and energy.
The international competition "Music and the Earth" gives young instrumentalists and composers the opportunity through their art to actively participate in the global movement to build a new world, environmentally sustainable development, in which people will live in harmony with nature and with each other.

So far, 2,050 young musicians from Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Taiwan, Japan, Greece, Macedonia, Switzerland, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, USA, Ukraine, Cyprus have taken part in the competitions. .

Before the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, through the exhibition "Bulgarian Culture for a Sustainable World" of the Earth and People Foundation in 1996 and by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Bulgaria to the United Nations in 2000.

Organization
