[16] International Competition for German and Austrian Music MAGIC

The International Competition for Performance of German and Austrian Music "MAGIC" is organized by the National School of Music and Performing Arts "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" - Burgas and UN "Native Sounds" with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture, Burgas District Administration, Municipality Burgas. The international competition for performance of German and Austrian music "MAGIC" is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Burgas. It is held every year - at the end of April. Its first edition was in 1995. The first chairman of the jury was Prof. Vladimir Avramov. In 1997 and 1999 the jury was chaired by Prof. Dimitar Momchilov, Dean of the Instrumental Faculty of the State Academy of Music, a graduate of SMU "Prof. P. Vladigerov" - Burgas.
